GlobalRomania is a strategic movement that aims to unite the Romanian diaspora, leveraging its collective talent, expertise, and resources to redefine Romania’s role on the world stage. By addressing pressing issues such as brain drain and economic isolation, GlobalRomania aims to build a resilient, connected network that drives growth, innovation, and global recognition for Romania. 

To build this global community, we are planning for several phases to ensure a gradual and solid build-up:


 

Phase 1: Diaspora Community Link

Diaspora Community Link  is the foundational phase of GlobalRomania, initiated in 2023. This phase focuses on mapping and connecting Romanian communities worldwide. To date, over 250 communities have been mapped, providing the groundwork for building a cohesive and engaged diaspora network. This phase not only facilitates connections but also strengthens communication and collaboration among diaspora leaders, creating a support system for future initiatives in education, healthcare, and business.

Key Objectives:

  • Map and Connect Diaspora Communities: Identify and map Romanian communities globally to establish a comprehensive network that fosters collaboration and resource-sharing.

  • Strengthen Community Leadership: Engage and empower community leaders to drive local initiatives and ensure active participation in Global Romania’s broader mission.

  • Create a Sustainable Infrastructure: Lay the foundation for subsequent phases by ensuring strong, connected, and engaged communities that can be mobilized for future strategic initiatives.

Phase 2: GlobalRomania Health

GlobalRomania Health is the second phase of this roadmap, focusing on uniting Romanian healthcare professionals globally. This initiative aims to drive healthcare innovation and systemic improvements in Romania through a vibrant, member-driven community. GRH enables diaspora medical professionals to collaborate, share expertise, and actively engage in transformative projects, such as the Copăceni Hospital, Romania’s first palliative care center for children.

Key Objectives:

  • Create a Global Healthcare Network: Engage and connect 5,000 Romanian healthcare professionals through an interactive platform that fosters collaboration, learning, and knowledge exchange.

  • Foster Professional Growth and Innovation: Provide members with access to specialized resources, training, and development opportunities that inspire leadership and drive healthcare advancements.

  • Support Systemic Healthcare Change in Romania: Champion impactful healthcare projects, like the Copăceni Hospital, showcasing the decisive role of diaspora engagement in advancing Romania’s healthcare landscape.

Phase 3: GlobalRomania Education

GlobalRomania Education seeks to connect Romanian educators, students, and academic institutions worldwide. This phase focuses on addressing educational challenges, promoting innovative teaching practices, and establishing pathways for academic exchange between Romania and its global diaspora. By fostering a network of educators and learners, we aim to enhance research, share best practices, and develop programs that elevate educational standards in Romania.

  • Build a Global Educational Network: Unite educators, students, and academic professionals to collaborate, share resources, and drive academic excellence.

  • Promote Educational Innovation: Launch programs, workshops, and virtual exchanges that connect Romanian students and educators with global knowledge and opportunities.

Phase 4: GlobalRomania Business

GlobalRomania Business is designed to link Romanian entrepreneurs, business leaders, and diaspora professionals with economic opportunities in Romania and internationally. This phase will establish a sophisticated business matchmaking platform, facilitating strategic partnerships between Romanian companies and global markets. By harnessing the expertise of the diaspora, Global Romania Business aims to attract investment, encourage entrepreneurship, and drive sustainable economic growth.
